Horses, Hunting Dogs, Figs and Flowers.
Coverland Farms was established in 2017. We raise, train, and occasionally breed Italian Spinone from the line of “Elena” AKC GCHB Brier Creek San Valentinos Elena Mab JH CGC, one of the Top 20 US Spinone of all time, a fantasic hunter for guided hunts, and an amiable companion and traveler. She has produced a certified therapy dog in her daughter “Mia”, and another daughter “Mellie” recieved her AKC Championship last year.
In addition, we are the home of Briers Creek Felice Augustus JH CGC (“Ogie”), an accomplished hunter who was the primary hunter for guided hunts for over six years.
We have horses and pastures, and train our own horses, Arabians, for competition in NATRC for Region 5.
And we are committed to our little 10 acres being a healthy habitat for pollenators, through flowers, bushes, and fields. We grow a good crop of figs and fruits each year.
We provide private contract veterinary care service for equine competitive events, provided by renowned Georgia veterinarian and former GVMA president, Dr. Keri Riddick. Don Riddick provides legal education to veterinarians and animal hospitals, including on our sister blog – http://www.bettervet.org.
